Koshidaka Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Feb. 28 was ¥62.47 per share, an increase of 23.3% from ¥50.66 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.16 billion, a gain of 20.5% from ¥960.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 10.2% from 10.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 20.4% on an annual basis to ¥11.37 billion from ¥9.45 billion, and total operating expenses rose 19.7% year over year to ¥9.44 billion from ¥7.88 billion.
Reported net income rose on an annual basis to ¥976.0 million, or ¥52.68 per share, from ¥935.0 million, or ¥49.33 per share.
As of April 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.09.
