CME Group lifts trading restrictions on Hana Financial Investment

CME Group Inc. lifted all remaining trading restrictions on Hana Financial Investment Co. Ltd., Yonhap News Agency reported.

The company notified Hana Financial Investment of a modification of its prior summary access denial order restricting futures and options trading access.

In May, CME Group imposed a two-month trading restriction on the South Korean brokerage, citing inadequate compliance with customer information disclosure requests. In June, it partially relaxed those sanctions to allow Hana Financial Investment to trade on its own account.

The Hana Financial Group Inc. unit will soon resume full trading access to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange from customer accounts.
