Regulators extend comment period on bank soundness rating system

The Federal Reserve System and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. extended the comment period regarding the rating system examiners use to grade banks' soundness and risk, the Uniform Financial Institutions Rating System, also known as the CAMELS.

The regulators have extended the comment period until Feb. 28, 2020, from Dec. 30, 2019.
