Freshii said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended June 25 came to 3 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 6 cents per share.
EPS fell 18.3% year over year from 3 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $773,000, a decrease of 19.2% from $957,130 in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 16.6% from 20.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined on an annual basis to $4.7 million from $4.7 million, and total operating expenses climbed 7.6% year over year to $3.4 million from $3.2 million.
Reported net income totaled a loss of $304,810, or a loss of 1 cents per share, compared to income of $924,650, or 3 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
