CLSA Capital to buy majority stake in Japanese toy maker Bloom Group

CLSA Capital Partners entered a deal to buy a majority stake in Japanese toy manufacturer Bloom Group through its Sunrise Capital III fund for an undisclosed amount, Deal Street Asia reported.

The deal is expected to close in early April, the March 18 report added, citing the Hong Kong-based private equity company.

Bloom Group founder and shareholder Toshiko Kuwahara will retain her minority stake in the company and remain involved in management and product development.
