Lumina Gold Corp. completed its first resource update for the Condor property in Ecuador since acquiring the project in 2016. The estimate covers the Santa Barbara, Soledad, Los Cuyes and Enma deposits.
Condor hosts indicated resources containing 1.4 million ounces of gold, 9.2 million ounces of silver and 43 million pounds of copper within 63.8 million tonnes of ore grading 0.68 g/t of gold, 4.5 g/t of silver and 0.03% copper.
Inferred resources are estimated to contain 2.5 million ounces of gold, 7.9 million ounces of silver and 260 million pounds of copper within 144.5 million tonnes grading 0.54 g/t of gold, 1.7 g/t of silver and 0.08% copper.
The analysis incorporates a gold equivalent cutoff of 0.35 g/t and data from 69,665 meters of diamond drilling across the four deposits, including new data from 1,907 meters of drilling completed at Santa Barbara.
Lumina Gold is advancing various zones toward drilling, including extensions of Santa Barbara and Los Cuyes mineralization and targets at the Prometedor prospect.
In August 2016, when it was still known as Odin Mining & Exploration, the company agreed to acquire Ecuador Gold and Copper and its Condor property. The deal closed in November 2016.
