Cowen closes debt offering

Cowen Inc. completed its public offering of $90 million of 7.75% senior notes due 2033.

The net proceeds were roughly $86.6 million and will be used for general business purposes, including any potential purchases, and repurchases, repayments or redemptions of its debt securities or other indebtedness.

Morgan Stanley, UBS Investment Bank and Cowen are serving as joint book-running managers, and JMP Securities, Ladenburg Thalmann and Sandler O'Neill & Partners LP are acting as co-managers for the offering.
