French inflation was revised upward to a monthly 0.2% in EU-harmonized terms in April, down from 1.1% in March, final data from the country's National Institute of Statistics showed.
A flash estimate had indicated April inflation had held steady from March at 0.1%.
In annual terms, inflation rose to 1.8% from 1.7% in March, in line with the preliminary estimate.
The annual rate of France's own consumer price inflation measure was confirmed at 1.6%. But monthly inflation was revised up to 0.2% from 0.1%.
Core inflation, which excludes public sector prices, most volatile consumer prices and tax measures, was 0.1% in April in monthly terms and 0.8% in annual terms.
