Report: Ivanhoe Cambridge close to $650M deal for Manhattan skyscraper

Ivanhoe Cambridge is close to purchasing the 32-story building at 85 Broad St. in Manhattan, N.Y., from a joint venture between Beacon Capital Partners LLC and MetLife Inc. for approximately $650 million, Bloomberg News reported, citing "a person with knowledge of the transaction."

The building, which served as former headquarters of Goldman Sachs Group Inc., is 87% occupied, with tenants including Oppenheimer & Co., WeWork Cos., Nielsen and Vox Media Inc.
