Report: Lions Gate head of scripted programming stepping down

Chris Selak, executive vice president and head of worldwide scripted programming at Lions Gate Entertainment Corp.'s Lionsgate Television, is stepping down, according to Variety.

Selak is reportedly transitioning into a development and production deal with Lionsgate, returning to a producer role. She will work on her own projects while still taking on certain projects from the Lionsgate Television Group.

Selak has been working at Lionsgate for seven years and was promoted to executive vice president in January 2017.
