Net Detergent Q2 profit climbs 92.8% YOY

Net Detergent JSC said its second-quarter normalized net income came to 778.75 dong per share, a gain of 92.8% from 403.96 dong per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 17.44 billion dong, a gain of 92.8% from 9.05 billion dong in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 8.5% from 4.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 8.5% on an annual basis to 222.21 billion dong from 204.82 billion dong, and total operating expenses grew year over year to 197.07 billion dong from 192.23 billion dong.

Reported net income increased 92.8% year over year to 23.43 billion dong, or 1,046.03 dong per share, from 12.15 billion dong, or 542.62 dong per share.

As of July 21, US$1 was equivalent to 21,817.50 dong.
