Bank al Etihad board approves capital increase

Bank al Etihad's board of directors approved the bank's capital increase to 160 million Jordanian dinars from 125 million dinars, Reuters reported Feb. 1, citing the bank.

The changes come in the wake of the bank acquiring a stake in Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank.

As of Feb. 1, US$1 was equivalent to 0.71 Jordanian dinars.
