Rumble Resources Ltd. fulfilled its earn-in obligation to acquire 70% of the Barramine copper-lead-zinc-silver project in Western Australia from Great Sandy Pty. Ltd.
The company said Dec. 17 that it already spent A$1.5 million in exploration over three years and lodged transfer paperwork on Barramine, which is adjacent to the company's Braeside zinc project.
Rumble said mineralization at Barker Well, or the central Braeside tenement, occurs over a strike of 500 meters and potentially traverses northwards into Barramine.
Drilling highlights at Barker Well include 105 meters grading 0.78% lead and zinc, with multiple sulfide zones including 6 meters grading 6.16% lead and 3 meters grading 9.16% lead and 0.43% zinc.
The company said it plans to continue exploring the Braeside and Barramine projects in 2019.
