Welltower Inc. disclosed Nareit funds from operations attributable to common stockholders for the second quarter of $390.0 million, or 96.0 cents per share, a decrease of 5.9% on a per-share basis from $378.7 million, or $1.02 per share, in the 2018 second quarter.
Nareit is the U.S.-based trade association for real estate investment trusts and publicly traded real estate companies.
Normalized FFO for the quarter increased from the year-ago period on a per-share basis to $426.1 million, or $1.05 per share, from $371.9 million, or $1.00 per share.
The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus FFO estimate for the quarter was $1.04 per share.
For the second quarter, total revenues came to $1.32 billion, up 17.2% year over year from $1.13 billion.
The healthcare real estate investment trust expects normalized FFO per share in the range of $4.10 to $4.20 for the 2019 full year, compared with previous guidance in the range of $4.10 to $4.25.
The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus FFO-per-share estimate for 2019 is $4.19.
