Y's Table Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, 2014, was ¥15.50 per share, a gain from ¥6.11 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥41.3 million, a gain from ¥16.3 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 1.2% from 0.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 6.7% on an annual basis to ¥3.54 billion from ¥3.32 billion, and total operating expenses rose 6.8% from the prior-year period to ¥3.53 billion from ¥3.30 billion.
Reported net income came to ¥30.0 million, or ¥11.27 per share, compared to a loss of ¥10.0 million, or a loss of ¥3.76 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Jan. 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥116.84.
