MineHub Technologies Inc. launched a digital platform that aims to improve efficiency in the metals and mining supply chains.
The MineHub Platform aims to streamline trading and promote transparency in the sector, which has suffered from inefficiencies, according to an Oct. 15 release.
The platform is now live, and its first release allows miners to transact with each other securely in real time. Initial usage and trades are expected to commence within the next few weeks.
The company said it has been working with IBM, ING Groep NV, Wheaton Precious Metals Corp., Ocean Partners USA Inc., Kutcho Copper Corp., Capstone Mining Corp. and White & Case LLP to improve the supply chain.
