Fitch affirms, withdraws Bermuda Commercial Bank ratings

Fitch Ratings has affirmed and withdrawn the ratings of Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd.

They were withdrawn for commercial reasons, Fitch said in a press release.

The Hamilton, Bermuda-based bank had a long-term issuer default rating of BB+ and a short-term issuer default rating of B. The bank's viability rating was at "bb+," its support rating was 5 and its support floor rating was NF. The ratings had a stable outlook.

The rating agency on May 10 had affirmed the long-term and short-term issuer default ratings of Bermuda Commercial Bank at BB+ and B, respectively.
