Dalradian Resources Inc. on May 10 reported a rise in the resources at its Curraghinalt deposit in Northern Ireland compared to the 2016 estimate.
Gold contained in measured and indicated resources rose 46% to 3.1 million ounces, comprising 6.35 million tonnes grading 15.02 g/t of gold, while inferred resources were estimated at 7.7 million tonnes at 12.24 g/t of gold for 3 million ounces, up 32% over the previous estimate.
The updated estimate will be used for a feasibility study, which is expected to be delivered in the third quarter.
Meanwhile, the company appointed Greg Hope as vice president of exploration. He has held the exploration and geology manager position at the company for three years.
