Macquarie closes sale of Utah solar facility to Goldman Sachs Renewable

Macquarie Infrastructure Corp. completed the sale of the 78.6-MW Utah Red Hills Renewable Park to Goldman Sachs Renewable Power LLC, according to a Sept. 17 filing with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

The solar facility started operating in Iron County, Utah, in 2015. It sells its output to Berkshire Hathaway Energy subsidiary PacifiCorp under a 20-year power purchase agreement, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.

The sale is part of Macquarie Infrastructure's planned divestment of a 345-MW portfolio of operating wind and solar projects. FERC approved the deal on June 17. (FERC docket EC19-82)
