Amazon India strikes licensing deal with Warner Bros.

Amazon.com Inc. struck a long-term content deal with Time Warner Inc.'s Warner Bros. to bolster the offerings of Amazon Prime Video in India, The Hollywood Reporter wrote June 5.

Under the deal, Amazon Prime Video subscribers in India will be able to stream recent movie titles such as "Sully," "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad."

Users can also stream older films such as "Godzilla," "Edge of Tomorrow," "Annabelle" and "Into the Storm."

The deal also covers TV shows, such as "Lethal Weapon," "Supernatural," "Blindspot," "The Last Ship," "2 Broke Girls," "The Vampire Diaries," "The Originals" and "Two and a Half Men."
