HPE to acquire artificial intelligence company Cape Networks

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. said it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cape Networks, which will become a part of Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company.

Cape Networks, which is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and in San Francisco, helps IT professionals monitor systems and head off problems before they affect users. The acquisition will help to expand Aruba's artificial intelligence capabilities.

The financial terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in late March or early April, were not disclosed.
