L Brands expects to incur $80M in charges from sale of La Senza

L Brands Inc. said Jan. 10 that it expects to incur a preliminary pretax charge, principally noncash, of about $80 million in the fourth quarter of 2018 from the sale of its lingerie brand La Senza.

The actual charge could differ from the estimate, the company said in the filing.

L Brands agreed Dec. 13, 2018, to sell La Senza to an affiliate of private equity firm Regent LP for an undisclosed sum.
