Hong Kong Resources Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to HK$10.2 million, compared with a loss of HK$43.3 million in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
Total revenue declined 20.2% on an annual basis to HK$680.3 million from HK$852.7 million, and total operating expenses fell 23.6% on an annual basis to HK$685.2 million from HK$897.1 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of HK$26.4 million, or a loss of 1 cents per share, compared to a loss of HK$70.6 million, or a loss of 2 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
