Charter, Northwest resolve retransmission dispute

Charter Communications Inc. and Northwest Broadcasting Inc. resolved their retransmission consent dispute, Multichannel News reported June 8, citing statements by the companies.

The retrans dispute affected about 11 FOX (US), NBC (US) and CBS (US) affiliated stations in the Northwest and Northeast regions of the U.S.

Brian Brady, president and CEO of Northwest Broadcasting, confirmed the deal in a June 7 statement on fox28spokane.com without disclosing any details. Charter subscribers lost access to Northwest stations Feb. 2 as a result of a contract dispute.
