Katoro to start drilling at Imweru gold project 2 months ahead of schedule

Katoro Gold PLC said May 31 that development work at its Imweru gold project in Tanzania has officially started.

Drilling is anticipated to start after the rig arrives on site, expected June 1.

According to Executive Chairman Louis Coetzee, work on the Imweru project is two months ahead of schedule. Drilling was previously scheduled for the third quarter.

Katoro Gold was created in May from the reverse takeover of Opera Investments Plc by Kibo Mining Plc.
