Japanese credit provider enters Cambodian market

Japanese credit card company JACCS Co. Ltd. began operations in Cambodia through its unit JACCS Finance (Cambodia) Plc., the Khmer Times reported March 20.

The new unit will provide consumer credit services in the Southeast Asian country. It received a license from Cambodia's central bank in January.

JACCS already operates in Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines, making Cambodia its fourth market outside Japan.
