Studio71 acquires over 50 apps from Unreel Entertainment

Red Arrow Studios International GmbH's Studio71 acquired more than 50 connected TV, or CTV, applications from Unreel Entertainment LLC for an undisclosed sum.

Studio71's newly acquired apps, such as gaming app Level One and Throttle.TV, will help the company extend its advertising network to streaming programming, according to a Sept. 5 news release.

The company will bundle its CTV apps' advertising inventory with its YouTube ad inventory to offer advertisers more reach across platforms. The acquisition brings Studio71's owned-and-operated CTV apps to over 200.

Studio71 estimates that its currently owned CTV apps, including those from Unreel, will give the company more than 200 million monthly ad impressions to sell to advertisers.

Red Arrow is a ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE media company.
