Garmin shareholders re-elect 6 directors

Garmin Ltd. shareholders at their annual meeting on June 9 re-elected six directors to the company's board to serve until the annual meeting in 2018, according to a June 12 SEC filing.

The re-elected directors are Donald Eller, Joseph Hartnett, Min Kao, Charles Peffer, Clifton Pemble and Rebecca Tilden. Kao was also re-elected as executive chairman of the board.

Eller, Hartnett, Peffer and Tilden were also re-elected as members of Garmin's compensation committee, to serve until the annual meeting in 2018.

The shareholders also ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the technology company's independent auditor for 2017 and re-elected the law firm of Reiss+Preuss LLP as independent proxy until the 2018 annual meeting.
