The Polish antitrust body Urząd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów conditionally approved Vectra SA to acquire fellow cable company Multimedia Polska SA.
In a statement, the regulatory body said Vectra must sell its own or Multimedia Polska's networks in eight towns and give customers in 13 other areas the option to change providers before it could take over Multimedia Polska.
The UOKiK previously objected to the transaction due to its possible threats to competition on pay TV services and fixed internet services in multiple Polish cities.
