CBRE Group Inc. appointed Brandon Boze as board chair, succeeding Raymond Wirta, who will remain a board member.

The appointment will become effective following the commercial real estate services and investment company's annual shareholder meeting in May.

Boze joined the company's board in December 2012 and is a partner and member of the management committee of privately owned ValueAct Capital.
