Photo-Me International fiscal H1 profit climbs 25.4% YOY

Photo-Me International PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Oct. 31 amounted to 5 Great British pence per share, an increase of 25.2% from 4 pence per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £17.9 million, an increase of 25.4% from £14.3 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 4.9% on an annual basis to £96.4 million from £101.3 million, and total operating expenses fell 13.7% from the prior-year period to £67.7 million from £78.4 million.

Reported net income rose 28.0% on an annual basis to £20.5 million, or 5 pence per share, from £16.0 million, or 4 pence per share.
