Lifestyle Global Enterprise Inc. said its normalized net income for the first quarter was NT$1.13 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$1.40 per share.
EPS rose 36.7% year over year from 82 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$34.0 million, a gain of 62.6% from NT$20.9 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.9% from 1.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 15.4% year over year to NT$1.81 billion from NT$1.57 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 14.5% from the prior-year period to NT$1.74 billion from NT$1.52 billion.
Reported net income rose 21.5% year over year to NT$47.5 million, or NT$1.57 per share, from NT$39.1 million, or NT$1.54 per share.
As of May 16, US$1 was equivalent to NT$32.63.
