Hungary's OTP Bank completes takeover of SocGen's Slovenian subsidiaries

OTP Bank Nyrt. completed the acquisition of Société Générale SA's units in Slovenia, officially becoming the owner of a 99.73% stake in SKB Banka d.d. Ljubljana and 100% stakes in SKB Leasing and SKB Leasing Select d.o.o.

Following the takeover, Anita Stojcevska was appointed CEO at SKB Banka, and Vojka Ravbar will continue to serve as deputy CEO, the Slovenian lender said in its Dec. 13 filing.

In addition to Slovenia, OTP Group is now present in 11 other countries, including Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Montenegro, Albania and Moldova.
