Partners Group backs Greenlink Interconnector project

Private equity firm Partners Group Holding AG equipped the Greenlink Interconnector project with equity financing.

Greenlink has been developed by renewable energy developer Element Power Ltd. with funds managed by Hudson Sustainable Investments LLC.

The project involves the construction of a 500-MW subsea interconnector between Ireland and Great Britain, which will span approximately 200 kilometers underground and under the sea. It is expected to break ground in 2020 and is set to be finished by 2023.
