Hershey Co. on Sept. 23 said it completed its acquisition of nutrition-bar maker ONE Brands LLC for $397 million, or approximately $325 million net of tax benefits.
The deal is expected to be slightly accretive to the chocolate manufacturer's earnings in the first full year after the transaction.
Hershey said it expects ONE Brands to complement its existing Oatmega business and its recent investment in European protein-bar maker FULFIL Holdings Ltd. The company added that it plans to expand ONE Brands' existing offerings.
