One Equity Partners, formally known as OEP Capital Advisors LP, closed its One Equity Partners VII LP fund at $1.75 billion.
The middle-market private equity firm, which spun out of JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2015, said Fund VII is the largest investment vehicle it has raised thus far.
Capital commitments came from new and existing U.S. and global investors, including pension funds, financial institutions, family offices, asset managers, fund-of-funds, insurers, foundations and high-net-worth individuals.
The firm said it will continue its strategy of combining equal-sized middle-market companies through the fund, investing between $30 million and $300 million in the healthcare, industrial and technology sectors in North America and Europe. The fund has already made nine platform investments.
