Bosnia's central bank ups charge on banks' excess reserves

Bosnia and Herzegovina's central bank adjusted the rate it charges lenders for holding excess reserves to negative 0.5% from negative 0.4% to mirror the ECB's new deposit facility rate.

The rate in question is charged on deposits that exceed the reserves banks are required to hold with Centralna banka Bosne i Hercegovine. The rate applied on required reserves has remained unchanged, the central bank said Sept. 18.
