TiVo Corp. teamed up with Tru Optik to make linear television viewership data available for over-the-top targeting.
The deal will help TiVo extend its linear TV viewership data to the brands, agencies and publishers that leverage Tru Optik to build audience-based campaigns across OTT and Connected TV, the company said March 27.
Also, TiVo's linear TV viewership data will become available via Tru Optik's OTT Marketing Cloud. The deal will allow Tru Optik users to create custom segments based on TV viewing behaviors across linear and connected TV.
Tru Optik is an audience intelligence and data-management platform built for OTT TV.
