The plaintiffs of several lawsuits have agreed to voluntarily dismiss their claims against the mammoth deal between Aetna Inc. and CVS Health Corp.
The cases were dropped after Aetna filed a supplemental disclosure to its proxy statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The health insurer wrote in a filing that the claims asserted in the litigation are without merit, and that it has not admitted any wrongdoing in submitting the disclosure.
The $69 billion merger is the largest managed-care deal in more than two years.
