Brookdale Senior Living reduces board size, rearranges director classes

Healthcare-focused facilities company Brookdale Senior Living Inc. reduced the size of its board from nine to seven and reduced the number of class II and class III directors to two each from three.

The changes follow the retirement of executive board chairman Daniel Decker and class II director William Petty.

The board also reassigned recently appointed nonexecutive chairman of the board Lee Wielansky to a class I director from a class III director.
