Perseus lowers H2'17 production guidance for Edikan gold project

Perseus Mining Ltd. said Jan. 26 that it lowered its production guidance for the June half year at its Edikan gold mine in Ghana to between 90,000 ounces and 110,001 ounces of gold from an earlier estimate of 125,000 ounces to 145,000 ounces of gold.

The company also revised its production cost and all-in site cost guidance for the period to US$885 to US$1,080 per ounce and US$1,000 to US$1,220 per ounce, from US$950 to to US$1,080 per ounce and US$995 to US$1,135 per ounce, respectively.

For its fiscal 2017, gold output is expected to total 166,000 ounces to 186,000 ounces, at production costs of US$1,050 to US$1,170 per ounce and AISC of US$1,240 to US$1,390 per ounce.

Perseus produced 75,999 ounces of gold in the December 2016 half year.
