With us Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 came to a loss of ¥24.20 per share, compared with a loss of ¥27.17 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥243.5 million, compared with a loss of ¥273.4 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to negative 9.0% from negative 9.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell year over year to ¥2.69 billion from ¥2.80 billion, and total operating expenses declined 6.2% year over year to ¥3.07 billion from ¥3.27 billion.

Reported net income came to a loss of ¥198.0 million, or a loss of ¥19.68 per share, compared to a loss of ¥273.0 million, or a loss of ¥27.13 per share, in the year-earlier period.

As of Aug. 10, US$1 was equivalent to ¥124.53.
