Focusrite fiscal H1 profit climbs 21.6% YOY

Focusrite PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Feb. 28 came to 4 Great British pence per share, a gain of 23.4% from 3 pence per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £2.2 million, a gain of 21.6% from £1.8 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue grew 17.5% on an annual basis to £23.8 million from £20.3 million, and total operating expenses grew 20.6% on an annual basis to £20.8 million from £17.3 million.

Reported net income increased 18.3% on an annual basis to £2.9 million, or 5 pence per share, from £2.4 million, or 4 pence per share.
