Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. appointed Jonathan Griffiths head of surety for Australia.
His appointment follows the company's entry into the surety market in Australia, where it will focus on large and midsize contractors.
Griffiths served as head of surety for Asia-Pacific at Liberty Specialty Markets Ltd.
Reinsurance
Munich Reinsurance America Inc. named Juan Herrera head of diversity and inclusion.
He will oversee all diversity and inclusion efforts across the North American region, including for Munich Reinsurance America, Munich Re Specialty Insurance, American Modern Insurance Group Inc. and Hartford Steam Boiler.
Herrera led the global inclusion efforts at a global property and casualty reinsurance company.
