UK-based Tedaisy Insurance, Intrinsia Insurance merge

Tedaisy Insurance Group and Intrinsia Insurance Group have merged under the former's umbrella in an all-share deal.

Tedaisy Insurance now owns 100% of the equity in four trading entities that were united through the merger. Those entities are managing general agency Alpha Underwriting, insurance broker Practice Cover, online pet insurance provider Intrinsia Brokers and in-house pet insurance claims specialist Intrinsia Claims.

Prior to the merger, Alpha Underwriting and Practice Cover were part of Tedaisy Insurance, while Intrinsia Brokers and Intrinsia Claims were under Intrinsia Insurance.

Tedaisy Insurance and Intrinsia Insurance will collect resources and capital to develop the businesses, including the formation of a shared group services division.

Donna Sweetman will head a centralized team that will offer finance, human resources, compliance, IT, quality control and binder management performance services to all group companies. She will step down as managing director of Alpha Underwriting.
