Report: Carrefour board to nominate new CEO

Carrefour SA board is set to nominate Groupe Fnac SA CEO Alexandre Bompard as CEO on June 12, Reuters reported June 7, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The supermarket operator's board of directors is scheduled to meet June 9 or June 12 to make the announcement, one of the sources said.

Reuters said Carrefour and its major shareholders could not immediately be reached for comment, while Groupe Fnac declined to comment on the matter.
