Bluefield, Va.-based First Community Bank exec rescinds resignation

Jason Belcher, senior vice president and chief risk officer of First Community Bankshares Inc. unit First Community Bank and a current named executive officer of the company, formally rescinded his resignation on Dec. 19 and will now remain with First Community Bank as senior vice president and chief administrative officer.

Belcher had originally expected that he would stay with the Bluefield, Va.-based bank through Sept. 30. He intended to leave the company to assume a management role with his family business. He later agreed to extend his employment through Dec. 31, before agreeing to stay on.
