Platinum Investment Management lowers final dividend

Australia's Platinum Investment Management Ltd. lowered its final dividend for the fiscal year ended June 30.

The company declared a fully franked dividend of 14 Australian cents per share, down from 16 cents per share a year earlier, according to an Aug. 20 earnings report.

Together with an interim dividend of 13 cents per share, the company's total dividend for the fiscal year fell to 27 cents per share from 32 cents per share in the prior-year period.

The final dividend is payable on Sept. 20 to shareholders on record as of Aug. 28.
