Claremont Cos. sells Pompano Beach, Fla., hotel for $44M

Claremont Cos. Inc. sold the 106-room Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale in Pompano Beach, Fla., for $44 million, The Real Deal reported.

The buyer of the 115,200-square-foot property at 1350 North Ocean Blvd. was Brancolt LLC, a company affiliated with New York hotel developer Hank Freid, according to the publication.

Claremont paid $24.8 million for the hotel in 2015, the publication noted, citing records.
