Petrobras' May oil, gas production little changed on the month

In May, oil and natural gas production, including NGLs, at state-run Petroleo Brasileiro SA, or Petrobras, was 2.67 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, according to a June 15 news release. This was down slightly from a total of 2.68 MMboe/d in April.

Of the May figure, 2.57 MMboe/d was produced in Brazil, while 96,000 boe/d was produced abroad.

Total May production operated by the company, including its partners, was 3.34 MMboe/d, with 3.20 MMboe/d in Brazil.

In May, average oil production in Brazil was 2.07 MMbbl/d, down 1.2% from April production volumes.
